New Year, New Season

Changes

New year, new season, and changes, at least I hope for some changes. My hope for the new season of A Swedish Fika is that I will be more personal than I was during season one. I look upon the first season as my initiation to podcasting, and now that I feel more comfortable with what I am doing, I hope to put more of myself into my episodes.
I have also decided that A Swedish Fika will be an audio podcast only, so for those of you that used to listen on YouTube, I am sorry, the return on the time invested in creating the videos was not enough. I am still thinking about keeping the channel and maybe doing some complementary videos/live streams there when it fits well with the topic, but more about that in the future.
I will continue uploading once a week, and if you want to get some information beforehand I suggest that you subscribe to my mailing list

Seasons

Stockholm, all four seasons
Four Seasons of Stockholm

This first episode was inspired by me enjoying the fact that for the first time in my life I am living in a place that has no snow, and that most people when they hear that I am Swedish and hate winter and snow wonder what kind of Swede I am.
I haven’t always been anti-snow, but the older I get the more I am freezing, and this is the reason. As a kid, I loved winter and snow, and I will share some of that with you today.
From that, I talk about all four seasons and my experience from living in Stockholm, and what I enjoy with each of the other three seasons. I hope you will enjoy this as well.

On the Blog

I haven’t figured out what I want to do with this blog yet, all I know is that I want it to be more interactive than it is at the moment. One thing I am working on at the moment is a forum where we can have discussions going, and I hope this will be up and running before the week is over.
I am also working on setting up a membership area, where you can get access to more exclusive material. There is some more work to be done on this but hopefully, this will be up and running in mid-February.
